Joanne Fluke was born in Swanville, Minnesota in 1943. While pursuing her writing career, she worked as a public school teacher, a psychologist, a musician, a private detective's assistant, a secretary, a short order cook, a florist's assistant, a caterer and party planner, a computer consultant, a mostrar más production assistant on a TV quiz show, and half of a screenwriting team with her husband. She writes the Hannah Swensen Mystery series which includes original family recipes for baking. Her other works include The Stepchild, Vengeance Is Mine, Video Kill, Dead Giveaway, and Deadly Memories. Not going to lie, I was not sad when Connie Mac was found dead, I did not like this character at all; very entitled and manipulative.
Joanne Fluke did a great job of keeping me guessing until the reveal. I love it when I am unable to guess who the killer is.

Another fun mystery in the Hannah Swensen mystery series. I started reading this series at book #8, so it has been fun going back to the beginning of this series and learning about the start of Hannah's relationships with Norman and Mike.
Joanne Fluke did a great job of keeping me guessing in this mystery. I did not like Coach Watson, so I was not sad that he was killed. Looking forward to reading Blueberry Muffin Murder next.

Another fun, cozy mystery from Joanne Fluke. Suzanne Toren does a great job narrating this book.
The Hannah Swensen series is a great series to listen to while I am playing games or doing chores. They allow me to sneak away to Michigan and watch Hannah solve a mystery that no one else can solve.

Regarding the resolution of the mystery, there wasn't much plot action. Hannah’s aha moments in solving the crime always happened while she was drinking coffee. The reveal of the whodunnit was a surprise but the whydunnit was odd, i.e., girls riding on top of a car. In fact, I wasn't sure if this was really the reason for the murder and had to go back to the beginning and reread a few chapters.… (más)
