Mother Melania

I have had the pleasure of reading books by Mother Melania Salem in the past. I have found them to be a delight to read and the characters are good role models. It was an honor to have the opportunity to read their newest release, Best Buddies: What's in a Name?. I was not disappointed. While telling a beautiful tale, it teaches readers - young and old - some important life lessons. Several pages, warmed my heart, while others made me smile. I thought it was a sweet tale to read with my own children. I believe they enjoyed it as much as I did.

Best Buddies: What's in a Name? is beautifully illustrated. The pictures perfectly match the words on each page. They are a great way to keep the smallest of readers to follow along with the story and keep them engaged. They are a fantastic addition to the book.

I am giving Best Buddies: What's in a Name? a very well deserved five plus stars. I highly recommend it for readers between the ages of four and eight years old. It would a wonderful placement on children's public library and classroom shelves. I would be interested in reading more upcoming books by Mother Melania Salem to read along with my little ones in the future.

Are you looking for a cute picture book for your child or children? I may have found one on a homeless person and a little dog. It is called Best Buddies: What's in a Name? It is a short introduction about a homeless person and finding a stray dog. What will they become as they start to bond? Bob decides on a name to call the dog he encounters.

This dog has found a Bob. What is the name for naming a dog? Will he be called Rover or Scruffy or something completely different? You will need to read the book to find out what the name of the dog will be called. Bob seems to struggle one naming his new cute homeless dog.

Children will learn about homelessness and caring for a dog in this sweet, adorable introduction to this book. The pictures are done quite well and are colorful. It is more of an introduction to the series of the main two characters than anything. We are introduced to Bob briefly and to Luke, but this book deals with figuring out what to name the cute little homeless dog Bob found.

What adventures will it hold for them as the stories go on? Children will find this book easy to read and understand as well. Parents will enjoy seeing their children learn about homelessness and other teachable moments. Children may even learn about kindness as well.… (más)

MY THOUGHTS ON CAPERS AND HARRY

This little book is about a cat named Capers and a dog named Harry. Capers wanted to make sure Harry knew cats were braver than dogs so Capers climbed in a tree, much higher than normal. There he met the squirel who teased him a bit, and Capers realized he couldn’t get down, but of course he didn’t tell Harry. But Harry was on to Capers and had a trick of his own. Join these two friends as they try to help each other out.

I love this cute book and it’s meaning. The cat and dog story idea is brilliant because the two animals are always at odds. The author does a really nice job showing how friends should not only help friends but treat them with love and respect. Just as Harry treated Capers, with the help of Fearless the Duck. I think this would be a wonderful addition to your small child’s library. I always like reading positive stories to children and this is definitely on by Mother Melania Salem that will stay with your children for a while.

Greedy the Crow: Finders Keepers - Teaching Values to Children in a Fun Way is part of the Fearless and Friends series by Mother Melania. I found this to be an entertaining book that teaches morals and valuable lessons for readers along the way. I enjoyed getting to know the various animal friends and learning something about each one. Greedy the Crow gets himself into quite the predicament and I liked to see how the others step in to help. I found it to be a heartwarming story that can be relatable for everyday issues.

Greedy the Crow: Finders Keepers - Teaching Values to Children in a Fun Way is beautifully illustrated by the talented artist Cayce Kruse Halsell. The pictures perfectly flow with the story and help younger readers visually see what is going on. They are a wonderful addition.
