I dnf'd this at 49% and I'm sorry I wasted that much time on this book. I thought I wanted to know more about Kyle's backstory, but his behavior is so despicable that I finally didn't care. Rai is an entitled airhead who doesn't seem to understand the reality of her situation (neither does the author).

My Review (May contain spoilers, fair warning upon reading this review, please be responsible)

All The Truths is the finale to the Lies and Truth duet. I absolutely loved the way that it really built in the story. Of course we get in a cliffhanger in the previous book, and in this installment we see the reaction to. This is where the truths are being fully revealed and I was fascinated to see what was going to happen for our couple here especially when there was revenge and a death plot and so much more happening with the Russians than I expected. I will say that what I found the most intriguing was the under plot with Jason and Asher's sister. I did really like how much more bold the heroine gets in this story. She really takes her life in her hands and fights for it in such a powerful way. Not only with her relationship with Asher, but also with her girlfriends and cheerleading squad and gets to the bottom of the truth of what happened to her. And it really packs a punch and while its definitely not on the list of my favorite books or series from this author, it definitely had some unique fresh thinking to the plot building and I really appreciated how it was developed. Not sure how I feel about the sister or if I want to read her book to be honest, but maybe when I am in the mood for that type of heroine, wasn't a fan of how she was with her sister in the end there. But maybe she has more depth to her.

My Review (May contain spoilers, fair warning upon reading this review, please be responsible)

All the Lies is the first book in this duology. I absolutely had a blast with these books but you will need to really be patient with this one here. It was very angsty and not many answers are revealed until the very end. It will be a book that will be very challenging to read, so keep that in mind moving forward on it.

I found the premise of this couple very fascinating and from the beginning, you definitely can sense that there is much more going on with Reina. This is very strong in the amnesia trope, but she is also in a relationship with a man that hates her, who is playing games with her mentally and psychologically and so this won't be for everyone, so please check these triggers if that is going to be hard for you to read. I found it fascinating though. I had an assumption on the heroine that for the most part was correct, but not everyone will make that assumption. But Rina Kent leaves enough breadcrumbs to build up the story so beautifully.

I think though I just wasn't in the right mindset for how the hero treats the heroine at times. So definitely make sure you are in a angsty bully mood for this one. But overall I found it fascinating and it definitely kept me up late.

My mind is completely blown, and my heart is having palpitations like crazy, I’m not sure how the author keeps taking us to the edge of insanity then making all seem sane. This book may be the last of Elsa and Aiden’s story but Royal Elite are not done with us yet, with that being said this book picks up where Steel Princess left us with shocked faces and our mouths hanging wide open wondering what could happen next. Elsa just had some major things happen, not just her whole life but more recently after letting Aiden know she loves him. Aiden sees these turns of events as kind of an eye opener and he now realizes his normal tactics to get Elsa back won’t work, he’s going to have to do things differently, but he is willing to go to war for his Queen. With all the things we learn there is always a few questions we are still left with, things we need to know, and the author has a way of giving this story and still begging for more. Aiden and Elsa are perfect for each other and the more of the past we learn the more we understand so much more about Aiden and why he is the way he is. Aiden’s love for Elsa has been a constant battle but we learn so much about the past and when Elsa starts to figure it out she realizes she is just engrained in Aiden’s life as much as he is hers and she starts to see things a new light. I don’t want to give too much away but I love how much the author takes us to the edge in each book shows us how much we can guess or think we know about each character then she shoves us over the edge and lets us realize we know nothing and have so much to learn. These characters have a way of staying with us way after we read the books and I still have so many questions and things I want to know and with every book in the series I’m left craving more.

Astrid has endured a lot in her life, and she thrown into a socialite life that she wants no part of and doesn’t belong. Levi is king of the school, the athletic golden boy comes from a rich family has tons of power but no one sees the real him and the things he is put through or has endured. Astrid is accidentally thrown into a situation that isn’t her fault, but it ends with her being in an accident. This book was so good, it had so much angst and drama I couldn’t put it down. Levi and Astrid start out as enemies who love to fight against each other but shortly Levi comes to realize he LOVES the fight within Astrid, and she is now his. These two go through so much to be together and secrets from the past come up but can their new relationship last or will it go up in flames? The author wrote the perfect enemy to lovers’ trope that had a little bit of Romeo and Juliet vibes thrown in. This has easily become one of my favorite bully type reads.

From the very opening scenes of this book I was immediately sucked in and just knew it was going to be an epic read that is going to take me on an emotional ride, the author did not disappoint at all. My review will probably be extremely vague because you don’t want me to spoil anything, you will want to be surprised and enjoy this crazy ride as much as I did, that being said holy wow, I was truly blown away with how good it was and now Asher Carson has replaced Aiden King as my favorite man. This author has a true talent in writing these devilish characters who at first, we can’t stand but their personalities and mysterious behavior throw us for a loop and next thing you know we are falling in love with the devil themselves, especially Asher. This story follows Reina who was found beat up and suffering from amnesia and nothing from her previous life she is told about seems right or doesn’t fit her anymore. The one person that terrifies her is the one she also finds solace in even if he hates her and treats her like she is the monster. Asher has his reasons for hating Reina we just don’t know what they are, and she is strangely drawn to him, but also so terrified of him. There are so many questions we don’t know the answers to, so many people who hate Reina and could be the one after her, so many mysteries that we have no clue about, and the end is a cliffhanger, but it leaves us wanting so much more and to find out what is truly going on. An epic read and I’m dying for book two.

In this conclusion of the duet we learn so much and find out so much but I won’t tell you what because like I said in my review for All The Lies you’ll want to enjoy this epic journey and amazing conclusion and no one really wants it spoiled for them. You’ll be taken on a crazy ride of finding out what all is going on with all these different characters and you’ll be dying to know just how it all will play out. In the last book we were left off with not knowing what to think, who to trust, and why do we love the bad boys so much? Reina is still struggling with her feelings for and towards Asher because they are so conflicting and Asher’s personality towards her changes daily. We know we want happy endings but to get there we must find out and travel these mysterious with these characters and boy is it an insane ride. This author continues to blow me away with each book she comes out with and I absolutely being sucked into her head with these stories.

Holy crap Aiden King is the cruelest, most hateful, arrogant, smart, and beautiful man. I wanted to punch the crap out of him one second but then the next I was falling hard for him. Aiden is enigmatic and such a genius player to his own game that Elsa doesn’t even stand a chance no matter how strong she is or pretends to be. They call her Frozen because everyone thinks that she thinks she is better than everyone when in reality she is pretending to hold herself together when all she wants to do is fall apart. At first I wasn’t sure why Aiden was acting this way towards her and I was kind of hating him and his manipulation, but then we learn a little more about him and the kindness he eventually shows towards and only towards Elsa and it makes you love him. The author draws you in and makes you feel the emotions and turmoil that she has to endure. The cliffhanger at the end blew me away and was such a twist that I am dying to know what happens next. I need more!!!!!

Wow just wow, this author keeps taking us on this crazy ride between Elsa and Aiden and I love every single word of it. This is the second book for these two and it picks up where book one left us hanging, so we get more twists, turns, and suspense. Elsa has been through so much and in book one she was kind of a pushover when it came to Aiden and his bullying ways but in this book Elsa is stronger, tougher, and holds her own against Aiden even if it doesn’t last too long and I loved she found her backbone. Aiden is not up for losing at anything especially not losing Elsa, so he pulls all the tricks to get her to realize she is his and no one else’s. Aiden is a complicated character and we learn more about his past and god do I love and hate this man so seeing a softer side he only shows to Elsa was so rare and so special. These two have a rough road ahead of them and I’m not sure how things will go for them, will they let these things tear them apart when they were finally getting somewhere in this relationship? Or will this make them stand together and fight for each other? I just know I fell even more in love with Aiden and the other horsemen and cannot wait for more.

I just knew that Xandor and Kim's story was going to be emotional and epic and I was right but I was blown away with how amazing it truly was. The hatred that they had for each other was so real that my heart hurt for Kim every time Xandor lashed out at her and to see Xandor suffering tore me up too. Kim had issues that were so tragic but so real and I cried for her because so many people deal with this serious situations, it felt so real and heartbreaking. Xandor had his own problems and at first, in previous books I thought it was just him being a priveleged jerk but we soon find out the issues are rooted deeper than we ever thought. These two have so much that they have to work out and try to navigate many situations, but can they look past their hurts and come to a understanding or will they let the hatred fester and destroy them? There were so many different twists and turns that I never expected, I couldn't stop reading because I needed to know what happened between these two who grew up inseperable, and what tore them down and made them hurt each other. I loved that we got to see the rest of the guys and Elsa, I also love the dynamic the guys have even if it can be twisted they still have each other's backs. I can't wait for more stories from the guys and I just know Ronan and Cole's stories will be just as epic as Xandor's and Aiden's have been.

It is so difficult to find a series where each book with different characters continue to become better than the last and even though I loved every book so far I was excited to read about Ronan. In previous books he is the laid back, hilarious, sweetheart that hides a lot behind his gorgeous smile but I just knew there was some sort of darkness that haunted him. When we find out my heart breaks for him and I started to understand him a lot better. Teal has a darkness too that we knew a little about and then we discover just how difficult it still is for her to deal with. These two come from very different worlds and hate each other but the tension is tangible and undeniable. Teal has her own agenda and Ronan just wants to live his life the way he wants to so they continue to butt heads throughout. My heart hurt for everything they deal with and how they don’t handle it well but can they find something that works for them or will they let their need to be independent and free keep them apart? This author has created a world with amazing characters that sometimes you love to hate or just absolute fall hard for and Ronan is perfection. I’m excited to see what in the world Cole is up to in his book and see more of the four horsemen.

Oh man that was one crazy emotional read and I devoured it in one sitting. To be honest the heroine hasn’t been one of my favorites that we have seen, throughout the series she always came off as the snobbish girl that behaved badly so I wasn’t sure if I wanted her as Cole’s love interest. I went in trying hard not be judgmental about her it was hard, but I am glad because I learned so much about Silver and why she acts the way she does. As we all know her and Cole have a shaky relationship that is full of angst, hate, and passion he wants to make her suffer as well as need him. Cole is the silent nerdy type that everyone misreads because while they think he hides behind his books; he is observing everyone waiting to find out their secrets. These two are so explosive their passion just rains off the pages, but they are oil and vinegar too. I am so glad I didn’t give up on Silver because she went through a lot and all the twists and turns had me on the edge of my seat dying to know what would happen next. I ended up loving Silver and Cole so much and was rooting for them, but things and obstacles stand in their way can they make it out unscathed or are they doomed?

This is a quick prequel to Jonathan King's story that will be coming out soon. Since we first heard that daddy King would be getting his own book not only was I beyond excited, but I was definitely curious as to the storyline and who would catch his attention. This quick read not only gives us a glimpse of the king, it also shows us at some point he wasn't always heartless towards Aiden, he just wanted his son to be strong and know his worth. It also gives us the who, which shocked me to death and I can not wait to read more about their dynamic and how the King will handle this situation. Even if it is a prequel and only 5 chapters this author has set us up to prepare for The King and grasping to know more.

Jonathan King the ruler of all, the ultimate player in a game of war, and overall King. He is ruthless when it comes to anything he wants and now he has his sights set on Aurora. Jonathan King does not play around nor does he joke so when he expects someone to do something for him, he doesn’t hesitate to use his authority to get it. I thought from previous books that I wouldn’t like his character, but I loved him because while he is cruel and ruthless, he can sometimes show a little compassion here and there. He is out to discover more about Aurora and the secrets he thinks she is keeping and do so he has overpowered her by taking over her pride and joy, her watch company. The tension between them is intense where Jonathan wants to dominate her and use her, she just wants to save her company and move forward in life. There is a mystery surrounding Aurora and the King family that has you guessing but never really knowing everything that is truly going on. I was on the edge trying hard to figure out what was truly going on and I couldn’t stop reading knowing I didn’t want it to end but needing to find out more. Not to spoil anything because like the other books it should be experienced but I loved this read and it is book one of two but book two isn’t that far of a wait. The secrets that follow Aurora are intense and kept me wondering what would happen next and although I don’t see Jonathan hanging his ruthless ways it was nice to see that a small sliver of softness come through just for her and her alone. In fact, I have a feeling in the next book we are going to see next level ruthlessness from him, and it is going to be epic!!

Johnathan King is out to find the one that has tore his world upside down and will stop at nothing to get her back. She is his and his alone even she if she thinks otherwise but she knows deep down where she belongs and that is by his side. Aurora is going through some tough times questioning herself, Johnathan, and everything she thought she knew she doesn’t want to but things are escalating leaving her feeling hopeless and alone. The obstacles standing in her way seem to be building up and even if she thinks she’s alone, she isn’t because Johnathan is by her standing up for her and ready to fight her battles. Not to spoil anything because the series of Royal Elite and Johnathan’s duet are something that need to be experienced and lived by the reader because they are truly amazing so yes this may be a vague review but trust me when I say this King is worth reading and devouring. I will say that I loved seeing the different sides of Johnathan and Aurora is the one that brings these sides out in him, but I loved seeing that even showing some affection towards Aiden and Levi he was still the ruthless King that we fell for from the start. “Aurora Harper sold her soul to the devil. It goes without saying that she’ll never be able to escape me.” “Those eyes aren’t made for tears.”

Rai is out to prove herself in a man’s world. We don’t know why he is back or what his intentions are, he has a plan and it’s up to Rai to figure out what is going on. Rai wants to hate him, but her feelings never really disappeared, and all her anger is starting to turn to more, but she can’t show any weaknesses and he just may be her own demise. A ruthless world where everyone fights to survive can Rai and her own ghost filter out the lies, truths, snakes, and tormenters or will they be doomed to fight wars for the Brotherhood or each other? This read was so intense that I couldn’t put it down and dying to see what will happen next because it does end on a cliffhanger. Another epic read with an amazing storyline that takes us into the heart of the Brotherhood and leaves us wondering what will happen net for Rai and can she ever come back from this. “The road to the throne is paved with thorns, blood, and casualties. To win, I’ll risk it all. My heart included.”

The continuation of Kyle and Rai’s story is an epic journey that I could not put down. It picks up where book two left off and now a lot of things are happening. Kyle has some things up his sleeve and Rai is still trying to establish her place in the family. Not wanting to give too much away because this duet was such a great read with all the twists and turns some expected and some not expected, it should be experienced by the reader. Kyle was amazing, smart, ruthless, but loved hard and Rai was strong, a fighter, reluctant to let many people close to her, but Kyle saw the real her. Another hit with this series that blew me away!

The more I read of these books the more sucked into this world of the Bratva I become, and I love every second of it. From previous books we did see glimpses of Adrian and his relationship with his wife, but now we get a more in depth look at the man behind the cold and heartless soul. Adrian is a high rank in the Bratva, he has secrets on everyone and every dealing to ever exist, but now thins have happened that have a few questioning his loyalties so he is under a lot of stress and add to the mix the craziness behind Lia and Winter. I don’t want to give anything away because trust me when I say that this cliffhanger leaves the reader breathless, well it did me because I honestly never saw any of that coming. I’m dying for more, but I will wait patiently since the next isn’t too far away. This book is one that you will want to experience because it is visceral, steamy, entrancing, and twisted. I could not stop reading even if I never wanted it to end, I wanted to see what would happen next. An insanely brilliant way to start a trilogy that left me craving more.

In this continuation of Lia and Adrian’s story we get more of a look into their relationship, how they got together, their life, and what led them to where they were by the end of the first book. At first it started a little slow for me, but I think that’s because I was wanting to see what would happen next from book one and not the backstory but sticking with it does get more interesting and is details that we need for their story. Adrian blew me away with how his mind would work, attention to details, etc. I’m not sure about Lia she is fragile and at times jumps to conclusions, wanting to leave Adrian constantly and I get where she was coming from but at times, she got a little too annoying, she wanted Adrian to love her but always was making bad decisions at time. This story was a great in sight into their lives and minds. It’s full of mysteries, had me wondering what would happen next, and very steamy times. Overall, I really enjoyed it and it is imperative to the story so I can’t wait to see where they go from here.

The last book of Adrian and Lia’s story is full of twists, turns, deceit, and passion. I could not stop reading once I started because I needed to know how it was all planned out and how the author would shock us as usual. The more we learn of Adrian’s past the more we realize it has molded him into this ruthless man he is today. Lia’s past is complicated and is the cause for so much of the chaos that has happened. I loved how Lia finally stepped up and realized her love for Adrian meant more to her than she realized and how she gained a backbone to stand up for not only herself but those she loved. This series has been a lot of twists, turns, gasps, edge of your seat events that had me dying for more. I hope we get more from these guys of the Bratva because it has been a wild and fun ride.

This quick prequel introduces us to Naomi who we learn is forced to fit in at Blackwood when all she wants to do is ignore and be ignored just to hurry and get out, but her mother wants her to try so she sticks with it. She comes off as an unfeeling person who could care less about things and in a sense, she is because she isn’t as shallow as some of the other students. I think this may take place before Rei and Asher’s story because in this Rei comes off as the selfish witch she was supposedly before things happened. I loved Rei so seeing her act this way was a bitter pill to swallow, but it lets us see the façade all students put on. I felt bad for Naomi because this group of pretentious rich kids are cruel and she just doesn’t care, yet she does feel lonely. Sebastian is a beautiful jerk, born into wealth, and one of the top dogs at Blackwood. Everyone has a role to play, and Sebastian knows his, but Naomi isn’t like the others and I feel her story will be heartbreaking. This was a good intro to Sebastian and Naomi’s story, but I found myself so angry at Rei and the others for playing these games. Can’t wait to see what will happen next!

WOW!! The author warns the readers that it has triggers and if it’s not your cup of tea do not enter, but I have read several of her books and they are dark but so unique I suggest giving them a whirl. I loved Sebastian, he and Naomi they had a kindred spirit of sorts in what they needed to feel alive but is it all a lie for Sebastian just to prove a point to his peers or is it real. They come from vastly different backgrounds where Naomi is raised by her single mother and Sebastian has been groomed by his grandparents to carry on the Weaver name in politics. Naomi likes to stick to herself, has been traumatized, isn’t sure where she fits, at times just feels lonely. She was a tad annoying because she never wanted to be judged but didn’t hesitate to throw that judgment right back at everyone. Sebastian is a calculating guy with many different facades that he knows how to wield. One second, he is this football god of college, the next he sits back to watch others and learn their motives, and then the only time he lets his dark side out is around Naomi. Naomi is faced everyday by racist jerks and is always looking for an escape and she finds that in Sebastian’s darkness. It’s like her depravity speaks to his and they form a sort of relationship based on it, but will it amount to anything or is this just a means to an end? With all the secrets and lies what will happen next? Can they survive what lies ahead or are they doomed to fade into the darkness forever? This was interesting and had me on the edge of my seat, heart pounding, with so many questions running around my head, and that ending blew my mind. I can’t wait to see what direction the author will take us in the next book.

"We're two monsters who made peace with the darkness."

Here we are back again with Naomi and Sebastian’s story. I knew it would be twisted, dark, and erotic but we get way more with this second one. It made me frustrated about the time spent apart so I had to brush that off and carry on but Naomi annoyed to no end yes she suffers too, yes she feels betrayed, but this girl just couldn’t stop feeling sorry for herself. Ok now that’s off my chest the story was a good one with several twists that some I saw coming and a few that had my mouth popping open. Another crazy ride with some good storytelling.
