I loved, loved, loved Volume II. I think the interviewer was more skilled than he was in Volume I, or they edited the interviews more effectively. Most of of the interview subjects were illustrators, and I loved the depth they went into about their creative processes, and the technical processes of printing a book. It was so interesting to learn how the artists and writers came to the field. ( )

There's so much about the writing and editing processes in this book, as well as the other work of being an author or illustrator. It helps that I saw so many of these authors' books at school and public libraries growing up. The authors featured are also at different points in their careers. ( )
