I loved, loved, loved Volume II. I think the interviewer was more skilled than he was in Volume I, or they edited the interviews more effectively. Most of of the interview subjects were illustrators, and I loved the depth they went into about their creative processes, and the technical processes of printing a book. It was so interesting to learn how the artists and writers came to the field.

There's so much about the writing and editing processes in this book, as well as the other work of being an author or illustrator. It helps that I saw so many of these authors' books at school and public libraries growing up. The authors featured are also at different points in their careers.
