I usually save these reads for when I have finished a dark book and need something light and silly. This time the silly was more than I needed. lol! BUT I thought a lot of the recipes sounded better than usual so not a loss. (

I'm not sure I totally loved the style of writing, but the characters were comforting. I loved hearing the recipes, they almost all sounded like dishes I would try. It felt more like a recipe book with a plot, but I say that as a compliment. I enjoyed it. :) (
