It is a sturdy little book that she can read herself without damaging. She has been interested in it since age seven months and still wants to read it daily, now at almost a year old. To an adult eye it isn't a great book: the illustrations are okay but not great and the textures are not very variable. The textures include: leathery feel on the cover, shiny inset flippers, a spongey tongue, shiny inset toes, mildly bumpy spots, and a soft throat. They are a nice change as compared to books with all fur or fabric based textures. While underwhelming for me to read it is however clearly a baby pleasing book. ( ) Thsi book is about someone looking for their lost frog by going through other frogs and deciding that it is the wrong frog and they need to keep looking. I like the concept of touch and feel books. They are fun to play around with. The different textures on the different frogs will help with early learning. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
Young readers may touch various surfaces on frogs that are not the one someone is looking for, until at last the right one appears. No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |
