This book seemed inocuous enough: read it and pass it on to another romance fan. NOT! I'm keeping this one. The down side to it, however (and it's always my bad luck) is that it's #4 in a series featuring this hero's siblings, so I'm on a glom to get those books. This hero, Keiran, is handsome/buff/hunky/yummy - you name it, he's it. Your kind of hero? OK, then throw in really nice guy, has dinner with his folks at least once a week, big heart, and you have a hero to hanker after. The heroine's daughter hires the hero to be her widowed mom's personal trainer, and so the story goes. I'm out of shape myself so can't relate to gyms, trainers, jogging, cardio all that stuff I should be doing instead of reading on the recliner, so I didn't think I'd enjoy this book as much as I did. This was my first Kristi Gold and I loved her writing style, a wonderful way of putting her words together. A lovely, heart-warming story. Three back books to hunt down, and the hero's twin brother has his own story coming out in next year. Woo-hoooo. Highly recommended. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
"My mom hasn't had it easy the past few years. She's spent so much time taking care of me, and now I want to take care of her. When she mentioned that she was out of shape, I decided to get her a personal trainer. Kieran O'Brien's supposed to be the best, and he's even helping me with my softball. I think my mom likes him, and Kieran can't stop smiling when she is around. They seem like a perfect pair. I just want my mom to be happy, and I wouldn't mind a daddy, either. Who knows? Kieran might just be the guy we've both been searching for ... "--p. [4] of cover. No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |

This was a really cute and thoroughly enjoyable read. It had such an appealing cast of characters. I absolutely loved hero Kieran. He seemed too good to be true. He was handsome, sexy, charming, thoughtful, kind, considerate, caring. I loved the romantic plans he had in store when he brought Erica to his beach house. Erica was a very likable heroine, relatable, and down-to-earth, and her daughter Stormy was adorable and irresistible. I also loved Kieran's family, their family dinners, and how close-knit they were. This was an all-around wonderful read. ( )
