Bradbury muestra aquí su ya famoso poder de expresar con la historia de un individuo -"El peatón", "El asesino", "El basurero-, toda una dramática visión del mundo y su posible futuro. Pero es también en este volumen el artista de lo extraordinario. lo fantasmagórico y lo hermoso, autor de curiosas parábolas chinas. de una narración aparentemente policial que se transforma poco a poco en una obsesionante pesadilla, de emocionadas historias fantásticas, y de algunos cuentos de un realismo poético y preciso que revelan una vez más la claridad y la intensidad de su arte. Un libro que hoy en día se hace remanido y poco sorprendente, quizás sea por que tantos han sido 'inspirados' por Bradbury que los remates de cada uno de los cuentos de este libro se han repetido hasta el hartazgo en miles de obras de CF posteriores ( )
