Invaders (What They Don't Tell You About) por Bob Fowke
As an appetiser to a more comprehensive book on Viking Britain, I read this MG-ish nonfiction history of the Roman, Anglo-Saxon and Viking invaders of Britain. My main interest was in the latter section, but I enjoyed the first two sections too. These books are in the tradition of "Horrible Histories" - that is, history as nasty, brutish and short.
