The title is a bit misleading, as this album covers more than just the Tornado, Tomcat and Backfire. Instead, there are pictures of all the variable geometry aircraft in service with major air arms in the early 1990s - helped by the sudden access to Soviet types previously only known from very blurred intelligence pictures. Unusually for an Osprey colour album, this book also includes cutaways of all the NATO types plus the MiG-23. ( )
