The main character, Driver, appears to be a nice guy who had bad circumstances and got himself in a mess. The lifestyle of the characters in LA is hard for me to relate to. The character of Lisa makes little sense. I would not recommend the book. ( ) If you like Hip Hop this novel is for you. The hard luck life of a former felon in a dead-end job and the hots for his boss' wife. Unfortunately the Mrs. is a psycho, and the felon owes her thousands of dollars he doesn't have. Some of the stereotypes in this novel made my skin crawl. And Dickey knows his stuff, the book is well researched. But as a writer, he seems to be withholding his talent, opting for financial success rather than literary greatness. A fun read. It's like your favourite gangsta rap album has an accompanying book. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
