Loved this book it was a great read and I’ll reread again. Interesting character and world. ( )

This is a lovely fantasy book for tweens and teens. The characters are wonderfully depicted (even the villains) and I love that the female main character starts out strong and brave and stays strong and brave throughout the book. The fantasy world feels unique and the writing pulls you in, keeps you entertained, and makes you laugh out loud. It reads almost like Nanny McPhee (the humor) mixed with Harry Potter (the adventure) mixed with a fresh spin on young fantasy. I loved this book and encourage you to pick it up! ( )
