This original graphic novel is quite a bit different from the Sherlock Holmes canon, but it delves into the mind that is Holmes in quite a creative way. The illustrations are very detailed and illuminating. The mystery is interesting, and the pictures complement it nicely. The story brings in some elements of the Holmes stories, including his brother Mycroft, and mentions other real cases. The whole package is well done, and a treat for fans of Sherlock Holmes.
