Unbound was such a fun (and fast) read! It was a bit of a different style that took me a minute to get into, but once I settled into it I wanted to know more about the crew & their stories. There is a complete adventure jam-packed into this novella with plenty of humor. Hoping there is more as I'd like to keep reading about the crew and learn more about the mysterious derelict convoy. You have to read it to find out that bit of comic relief. A good read with a great story line and don't forget to get the sequel to continue the story! Esta reseña ha sido escrita por los Primeros Reseñadores de LibraryThing. Hey, you! Yes, you. I got that book review about the “Unbound” you wanted me to write. Yeah, “Unbound “ was pretty cool especially if you like lots and lots of references to past and current pop culture. It was a fun read. Really neat space stuff happens in the story, bad guys, pirates, bad guys, and did I mention bad buys? And, oh! A big heist and a frame. No, not a picture frame! Who in space puts a picture in a frame? Use your digital device for pics of ma and pa and the puppy. But there ain't no ma’s and pa’s in this story. No puppies, either. Just cool space stuff. And onions. Five stars (pun intended) for the fun book and snazzy ending. DO NOT READ THE END FIRST. And if you’re wondering why I’m writing this review in this wacky way, you gotta read “Unbound.” Esta reseña ha sido escrita por los Primeros Reseñadores de LibraryThing. Loved this! Action packed, fast, and exciting read. Several plot twists that I absolutely did not see coming and I love the writing style. Highly highly recommend and I do hope we get more in this style from the Author! Esta reseña ha sido escrita por los Primeros Reseñadores de LibraryThing. Unbound is a inviting novella with quick wit and interesting plot points and twists. Think Space Opera yet uplifting, without any heavy technical descriptions or unnecessary descriptive paragraphs. Temple gives this genre a new look with a more self aware narrator who somehow has gotten himself into "deeper space" than he was capable of dragging himself out of and somehow ends up on top again. Unbound is giving me the vibe of fitting perfect within the same genre as Hitchhickers Guide. Perfect for a weekend read for middle grade, young adult, and new adult. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

The idea of space excites me.Yet, as history tells us, has always been difficult for humans to reach. Myself included. So why not experience that adventure by talking my way onto a pirate crew?? And trying to abduct its notorious captain?Little did I know who I was dealing with.My name is Simon Fox and I'm fresh out of flunking freighter school. Don't tell anyone that by the way because I lied on my resume. No one does that, right? The pirate ship in question is called the Unbound. It's that piece of scrap metal on the cover and it goes from zero to sarcasm faster than mag travel. The crew are smelly, crazy and annoying. I also hope they can't read.Anyway, you might be wondering why a space flunky is attempting this crazy mission.I have a good reason, and it starts with a master plan and an entry hatch?Unbound is a fun and light read, with lots of intrigue, space shenanigans and onions.
