Each recipe starts with a title, difficulty level, prep and cook time, servings.
List of ingredients are included and you should be able to substitute for your healthier dietary needs: low sodium, low fat, low sugar and fresh vs. canned items.
Directions are given and there are NO pictures.
Some nutritional information is included, not sure of the portion size: calories, fat-NOT broken up into good or bad, carbs, protein and sodium.
Some recipes they use canned items so why not just use fresh and cut up the tomatoes yourself? No sodium . Same with beans, soak them overnight not use from a can.
Directions are given. Some recipes have a LOT of ingredients be sure to have them all before you start.
Meal plans are included at the end of the book. Definitely easy enough, some take a bit more time than others to make. (
