The first book in the Legend of the Golden Feather series is a wonderful light-hearted western set in the late 1880's Rockies.With plenty of adventure, mystery, new friendships and loves, it kept me up late not wanting to put the book down.With the cliff-hanger ending I was very glad I purchased the set from the authors website.If you don't mind a little indian lore or fantasy mixed in with your western, the guy getting the guy (instead of the girl) and just a touch of environmental preaching sprinkled in, then give Bristlecone Peak a read, you won't regret it.
