As a young child I loved riddles especially since they’d been a lot of fun. Some of them had two possible answers; one somewhat serious and the other rather funny, especially if they’d been asked verbally. One of the best ones I can remember had been: “What is black and white and read [red] all over?” While the somewhat serious answer was a newspaper, the fun answer was a sun-burned zebra.
All of the riddles in this book are serious in their answers; ranging from the ones with one star which my inner-child enjoyed pondering over until it had to seek a peek at the answer which is given as soon as you click on ANSWER, to the 6-star riddles which are geared to perplex the mind of this 68-year-old voracious reader/reviewer of books. Reaching this age, anything which can keep the synapses of my mind active and performing at its best proficiency is a welcome treat to engage in at any time, so it might be able to still act like its still young.
In the end, this book, for wanting to entice its readers of all ages, especially those who happen to be senior citizens, so they would engage their minds and thought processes to solve the riddles they’ve been given [without looking at the answers] I’m glad to give those responsible for having created it, the 5 STARS they’ve been given.
