Somewhat predictable but still very entertaining - I blew through the book in a weekend. Ally is incredibly sympathetic, with an interesting cast of supporting characters. Solid YA that would be easy to recommend.Esta reseña ha sido escrita por los Primeros Reseñadores de LibraryThing. Ally Smith from a small town in Wisconsin had no idea that applying to college was going to change her life, but when her social security number gets rejected that starts the dominoes falling. Finding out that she isn’t who she believed herself to be for 15 years is devastating and this book does S fabulous job of documenting how Ally handles or doesn’t handle the complications of being two people. So. The concept was interesting. The execution was lacking. For me, I did enjoy the book, but I don't think I will rereading it anytime soon, or think about it often. The plot-twists were good though. And it's an easy read. And I love the Gleason family. I would love to be part of that family. When Ally finds out that her life is a lie, the people closest to her are still by her side. I do admire her for having those friends around her who are willing to support her trough this mess. I also enjoyed the part of the paparazzi being everywhere and Ally being sick of it. I mean, I would be too. Ally's biological mother is not a very good mother in my opinion. I know she has her reasons, but she's paranoid about everything. The environment in that household is not healthy. Esta reseña ha sido escrita por los Primeros Reseñadores de LibraryThing. Ally Smith has lived most of her life in small Valley Falls, Wisconsin. Cheese, the Packers and special traditions with her widowed father make up her peaceful, normal life. As a senior, Ally is struggling with the essays for her UW applications but when she finally hits submit, her world is upended when her social security number is rejected. This was an emotionally packed book and the author made it, if not easy but certainly believable, to see all the various sides of the story. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
