I found this book relevant and helpful to me, even though I am not an administrator in our building. I'm a guidance counselor and immediately connected to several different ideas and strategies that I might use in my department. I'm sharing it with our building Principal next. ( )

I enjoyed reading this book even though I'm a teacher, not an administrator. The writing style was engaging and rich with content. There are many tips that can be applied to working with students as well as any leadership roles that the reader may have in the school. For example, this will help me lead our PBIS team. There were many QR codes and websites listed in the text providing the reader with additional relevant resources. I am happy to add this book to my library of resources. ( )

*I received a copy of this book for free from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.*

Geared more towards administrators, this book focuses on the need for growth mindset in schools and offers practical tips and advice for how to implement it. The questions to ask teachers and potential employees are helpful, as are the quizzes to determine one's mindset. ( )

Mary Cay Ricci continues to put out quality work on the topic of having a growth mindset. This book is designed for principals and district administrators to use as a way in helping to implement a growth mindset in an entire school or district. There are many great ideas in the book, and any administrator who is interested in embedding a growth mindset in the school culture should take the time to read this book. ( )

A compendious read. I appreciate the tables used to model and foster a growth mindset. There are plenty of citations that illustrate the benefits and profound effects of such a mindset. Although I'm not a person who works in the occupational field this book was intended for, I am all for optimizing the learning process for the next generation. The idea of having a household conducive to a child's education is something I look forward to applying in my life in the near future from this read. I find that the points made in this book can be internalized and applied to day to day life in our ever growing pursuit of knowledge, breaking away from our preconceived perception of a fixed mindset.
