The return of the wrong side of the tracks football star was like tossing a rock into calm waters. The ripples were like tidal waves. Very shallow characters who could easily remind you of anybody left behind in Smallville America never to venture out to see the world. Whoes universe is limited to the county lines with an occasional trip to a big city for shopping. Pretty boring. Unsophisticated and shows how nothing much changes from one generation to the next. Mindless. This is my first Fern Michaels novel, probably my last. ( )

Didn't find all that exciting. Whole book was about adults living their lives as high school students and never getting out of that role. ( )
