It's very short, clocking in at just 70 pages. The first half consists mostly of the characters talking in around dream-like, miniaturized landscapes. ( )

Una novel carinissima che con semplicità riesce a descrivere una storia d'amore in tutte le sue sfumature e difficoltà. Mi è piaciuto lo stile e la semplicità con cui viene trasmesso il messaggio di fondo, la dimostrazione che non bisogna per forza usare 1000 pagine per riuscire a fare bene qualcosa. La storia è fin da subito chiara e dolcissima, molto verosimile, le due protagoniste sono ragazze comuni ed è facile immedesimarsi in loro. Il finale è ben fatto e anche se triste in tema con il messaggio della novel e ben sviluppato. Nonostante sia molto breve riesce ad emozionare.

Unfortunately, too slight and basic to really impress me. But beautiful, as Tillie Walden's work always is. ( )
