I did not love or hate this book. I definitely think it is for young readers, however, it is still very cute and beneficial for beginning readers. It was a book without a plot, so it just showed bears of different colors, gender and descriptions. I liked how the illustrations fit well with the pictures. Whether it was a black bear, brown bear, tall bear, or short bear, all the illustrations matched the bear’s description very well. The big idea of this book was just to teach young readers colors, description and objects in a cute and fun way, which I enjoyed. Whether a bear was a certain color, or holding an object such as a rose, there are several opportunities for learning new descriptions in the book. ( )
