It takes place years after the initial outbreak and follows Megan, Jack, and Luke. These three came together through out the first three books. I loved how the story progressed and loved the way it ended. A majority of the lose ends were closed meaning this could be the last book however, there was a cliff hanger ending that would easily lead to another book (I sincerely hope there is another one). The writing is very well done and the author keeps your attention through out the book. ( ![]() Esta reseña ha sido escrita para Sorteo de miembros LibraryThing. I was given this book in exchange for an honest review.I enjoyed this book very much. I was left with some unanswered questions but hopefully a book 4 is in the works to answer them. I found myself unable to put the book down until I finished it. Even after the last page I was left wanting more. Look forward to reading more from this author. To be perfectly clear, I would have left this same review even if I had paid for the ebook.I have always enjoyed William Esmont's books so I jumped at the chance of getting this one from the Librarything giveaway. This story of the undead is no exception to the quality the author puts out. As I was reading this vampire genre book, I was considering a rating of 5 stars because I simply was enjoying it so much. The reason I rated it 4 stars is because the ending did not live up to the rest of the story. Yes there are ending elements that would fit nicely in the next installment of the series (which I will happily read) but it all seemed to quick of an ending given all that was happening in the book. All the subplots came together just to quickly and left me a bit wanting. However, after reading this book, I realized that I have missed one of the first 3 in the series. So, I immediately went to Amazon and purchased it. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
