This seemed a little unreal...but who knows with kids these days?

In the story, Lisa wants Jen to help Allison. They were getting ready for a party, Allison Beaumont's party. Finding Allison's secret admirer sounded interesting, but Jen couldn't wait for Gram to get home so they could look for her dad! Lisa pointed out that Allison really had a problem with this person, who had taken the distributor caps out of their cars, making them late for the Rose Festival Parade. At first the flowers & letters had been romantic. Maybe someone was trying to get even with Allison? But lately the notes had been more dangerous. Lisa had made arrangements with Jen's mom so that Allison could spend the night by telling her that it was a friend who really needed help. Jennie didn't like this! ( )
