Sound nutritional advice directed at prevention of Alzheimer's as well promoting general health, except for one contradictory idea: the author believes we should stop using cast iron skillets to avoid ingesting too much iron. He is against other metals too, and as far as aluminum, it's quite understandable, but with cast iron skillets - that's exactly the opposite of what we hear from nutritionists these days; they advise us to use cast iron skillets instead of non-stick cookware: to get more iron and at the same time forgo the risk of ingesting chemicals from non-stick surfaces. I agree with the author that some supplements of metals (copper, zinc, etc.), included into some multivitamins, have the amounts much higher than RDA. But danger from cast iron skillets?...Hmmm... I hope there is more research on that. ( ) sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
