This is a wonderfully illuistrated book of ABCs. I have to admit I always like to see a frog for F (they had a fishy) and I think it was creative to use Jellyfish, Newt, Octopus, Pumpkin things that aren’t usually used. The colorful items that go with the letters make it a great book to share together. ( )

This is a cute alphabet book. It is very straightforward, and uses words a small child would know (except for quetzal !? ). The words are enclosed in parentheses and brackets. There doesn't seem to be a reason for this. It's a little distracting.

It took me a while to write my review because I shared the book with my son, nieces and nephews, and there were some questions. We used our imaginations to fill in the blanks which made it a fun read. The colors and the illustration draws them in, and I love anything that is simplistic about teaching alphabet. What gave me pause was the fact that Josephine is missing. She is on the cover looking cool and detective like but not in the story line.

I like it when we can find primary colors in books, or even a color family (pastels, glimmers, etc.) The alphabet pages had great colors, but I have no clue what that background color is and think it may have been affected by the download. I think it is supposed to be goldish yellowish mustard.

All in all this is a good book, it just needs a couple of tweaks to be an good selling book as well. ( )

What a beautifully illustrated book! Images are crisp and clear and make sense to me. Great beginner learning book.

Just a couple nick picky points. On the cover it shows the ABCs in upper and lower case but the book only has upper case provided. Seems a bit inconsistent to me. Also, all the pictures except the letter "E" have only one picture. Not sure what "E" merits an elephant and an egg. Or is that the secret we're looking for the children to notice?

A brief introduction on the Mom and daughter would be really nice to see who these secret agents are and why this book happened.

Enjoyed reading this one! ( )
