( ) It’s been a long long time since I laughed so hard I couldn’t breathe while reading a book. I loved this book especially the dialogue between the heroine and the hero. There were only a couple of slippery moments in plotting, things I wanted a bit more clarification on but it didn’t really bother me. I did wish the hero had given the OW at least a verbal smack down. The heat between the two of them was off the charts. Love scenes very well done. This is the second I have read in this series. I think I’ll go back and just read the whole series in order. 2/2021: The second time, this went a lot better. I'm upgrading to a 4, could've been 5, but I'm still unforgiving about the piece in my spoiler. That said, this has such incredible chemistry, romance, and romantic acts that I feel like I was a bit hard on it the first time despite everything it is. Original Review: I loved the central romance here, although it was painful, it was done in JAL's romantic and breezy style. The dialogue, as per usual, was to die for. My hangups unfortunately, involve spoiling. That really stole the enjoyment out of it for me overall, though I suspected that's where it'd end, I was hoping for a better outcome. Well written, the dialogue between Phoebe and Jules was spectacular. When they were together everything was just perfect and made scense. The minute the scene shifted to others, it got a little rediculous and I did a lot of eye rolling thinking "really? this would really happen?". Reguardless I enjoyed the verbal acrobatics and was happy for the HEA. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
