Hi, I'm seeking for a book where the main character is a teen named Owen. He lives in a camp with lots of other teens under a giant glass dome. The climate outside the dome is so dry and hot it's dangerous for humans. Owen developed gills, just like some older persons in charge and Atlantis is mentioned.
I know that at one point, the group of teens visited the place where the durability of glass panes of the dome is controlled and that most of the panes were really used.
People living in the camp have been frozen in the past in order to live at the time the story takes place.
Among the people with gills, there is a girl, and Owen will flee the camp in a aircraft. Both have a specific role according to the Atlantis lore (I think Owen is the navigator).
The book has (at least) two volumes and I read them like 5-8 years ago (mid-late 2010s). It's definitely a book for teens
