Found: Book about a blind lighthouse keeper's daughter

I read this book a long time ago as an ebook on my sister's tablet. It's about a blind lighthouse keeper's daughter, partially blind, and some man shipwrecks near the lighthouse. They take him in and the girl nurses him back to health, and this man is a very charming womanizer who doesn't think much about falling in love. However, he soon starts to care for the girl who is slowly losing her sight and ends up falling in love with her. I think it's set in the mid 1800s or so? Maybe early 1900s? Either way, technology did not exist, there was no electricity or cars.

Please help me with this book, I really want to find it and read it again.
