It's a fictional book series I read when I was in middle school, approximately 13 years ago so 200/2003 that tells the story of several children who find they have silver alien blood giving them special abilities. One child can speak any language including fax machine, another knows every form of fighting known, another one can absorb electricity and use it . They use the abilities to defeat actual aliens, Each book tells the pov of each of the characters, each cover has the child on it with a silver metallic shine to it. it was maybe about 200 pages or so.

Oh, I remember this. The Alien Blood series, by Christopher something or another. Around the same time as Animorphs.

Chris Archer. This is the first book in the series.

It wasn't that popular, and the series only went for 11 books. I purchased them all second hand a few years ago. Good times...

Yes! that's the ones. Oh, you're a life saver! I've literally been looking for the name of that book series for 10 years...Yeah, I remember reading them, and really liking them, but I can imaginge why it wasn't as popular as animorphs

Hey Gore,

I think it was mostly that Animorphs had a more cohesive storyline. Alien Terror/Mindwarp was a bit all over the place with the plot.
