longing for a rating system

I'm really longing for some rating system (where you can indicate okay, this one has my preference but I can live with that one too) or voting system (where you can pick just one that you think is the best) for translations. When the most popular alternative for a translation is shown, there is less chance that an edit war turns the site in a fruit automate. If you don't agree with a translation, you should come with arguments and reasons to convince others.

I think it would be good you can always change your vote. Thus if your vote appears to become a looser, you can change your attitude and vote for a candidate with more chances. Also discussions, or seeing a word or snippet appearing in another context, can make you change your mind.
