I read either what I am given by literary friends or find by complete serendipity in our local bookstore/second hand bookshop - anthing from Trollope to Dolly Partron's new biography to Le Carre and contemporary fiction. I love detective fiction and non-fiction like Hampton Side's Blood and Thunder and Anthony McCann's brilliant Shadowlands.

Melanie Finn is the author of four novels including The Gloaming, a New York Times Notable Book in 2016 and the much anticipated The Hare, 2021. She is also the co-founder of Natron Healthcare, a small charity focused on bringing health education and health service to remote Masai communities in Tanzania.
