I collect cookbooks. I read them partly for practical advice, partly as fantasy. I love also gastronomy and food writing.
Philosophy, mostly Eastern. Books about music and the arts, as I have worked as a professional musician.
Escapist fiction, 'chick lit' books about parenthood...
And some assorted other goodies.

Mother of two, stay-at-home for now. Musician, philosopher, cook.
I've had a love affair with reading since reading in bed with a flashlight as a preschooler.
Avid bookmoocher and freecycler. I like to 'live off the land', which is hard to do in urban California!
