He completed medical school and a residency in internal medicine at Loma Linda University and a PhD in New Testament studies at the University of St. Andrews. As you read this article, contemplate the meaning of the phrase "but he had to" in the story of Jesus' choice to go through Samaria when other routes were avaliable. Jesus has to go through Samaria not because Samaria is on His way, but because Samaria is on His mind. Communication is also body language, facial expression, eye contact or an avoidance of eye contact, and tone of voice.
