Miles Hood Swarthout

Story of the last all out quest to capture or kill the last of the apache renagades in southeast arizona territory. It takes place around Ft. Bowie and the mountains and valleys nearby. The army has set up a communication system using a helograph, which is a mirror setup that enables one to flash morse code over fairly long distances in the daytime with sunshine. Based on history, but given a little fiction to make an interesting read. Some of the names used are also real.
