Karen Rose was born the Maryland suburbs of Washington, D.C. in 1964. She received a chemical engineering degree from the University of Maryland. Before becoming a RITA Award-winning author, she worked as a chemical engineer for a large consumer goods company and as a high school chemistry and mostrar más physics teacher.
