If you desire an in-depth history of the band, this is not the book. The volume deals mainly with Brian WIlson and his music. It does present a good chronological description of how the band changed and touches upon some of the conflicts engendered, but does in no way delve into the origins of these conflicts nor their resolution. Overall it is a fairly good introduction to the band but save for Brian Wilson, does not pay much attention to the other members, their motivations or their contributions.… (más)
