Crucible of Stars (The Reforged Trilogy Book 1) por Erica Lindquist

Don't let the slow start stop you from reading this book - once it gains momentum, it doesn't slow down! The characters were great, I especially loved Maeve. I thought the world-building was good, and it's easy to imagine the story unfolding before your eyes like a movie. The action scenes are vividly described, and will definitely get your heart racing. An interesting sci-fi/fantasy story that holds promise for this new series.

In the House of Five Dragons

Delightful character growth, original "magic" system and highly entertaining! I really liked how Rikard, Thainna and Gaius progressed throughout the story- I was really pleased with the ending because I didn't see it coming at all.

The Dead Beat Volume 3 By: Erica Lindquist, Aron Christensen Narrated by: Daniel Dorse This continues the story of the exorcisms and ghost detective. They encounter lots of danger, suspense, and friendship. It's an interesting and exciting series. Wish there was more in the series! The narrator was ok. This book was free from Autoboom and the review is voluntary.

In the House of Five Dragons por Aron Christensen

One of the better fantasy books I've read lately. The characters are well rounded, you see actual character growth, and finding out who the main bad guy is? That was a twist I didn't see coming!

The magic system was unique; I can't recall seeing something like it before. I loved the world building, especially the glimpses we get of Alterra.

The fact that the hero of the story isn't a Mary Sue was quite refreshing; especially when she didn't even have any powers. And the fact that her foil wasn't arrogant? Almost unheard of!

My only complaint with the book was that we didn't get to see more of what happens in Alterra. Hopefully we'll get a book set there some day.… (más)
