Mavis Hopkins

This book came about as a project to record life in two villages in North Warwickshire at the turn of the Millennium. Local historians went about the area, making a record of the scenes and people who lived in these villages during the year 2000. The aim was to produce a book of local history for the future.

My photograph is in here (page 35), together with my parents. Sadly, my mother died unexpectedly two days after the picture was taken (on Valentine's Day 2000), and my father died equally suddenly four months later. So quite an important book for me, for a completely different reason.… (más)
