This was a very fast read. I knew the ending going in....the book jacket even tells you it's about the "disastrous end of a marriage." Yet, I found myself reading very quickly to find out how it all ended! I'm always amazed by people who 1) can clearly organize their thoughts about tumultuous events and 2) are willing to write so openly about such personal events. I liked it but still don't understand how, on the last pages of the book, Isabel has managed to write so kindly about people who hurt her so deeply.… (más)

This book spoke to my soul! Cosiness becomes a type of mindfulness if you let it and this book is full of ways to make your life more cosy. A self help book I can completely get on board with!

I read this was a MUST READ in Glamour magazine.

Honestly hope it is better than Love and Other Disasters (which was so real I literally got sick to my stomach).

I may pass from reading all these pre-reviews. And, depending on how "an all-too-true-story" it is, I may not be able to stomach it (literally).

But it's worth at least browsing once it is released, right?

The story is well written and I'm sure it happens every day but Gillies manages to tell her story in a unique way. I was expecting more of a memoir about that time in her life including the aftermath, but this book just focuses on the breakdown. A very quick read for me, I finished it one evening. I would have like to read about how Gillies moved on or helped her boys heal or even found her new love, but I guess that's another book.… (más)
