The main character Freya has the power of prophetic dreams, which she has hidden from the world, including her own father. Unlike X-Men, this is not an action/adventure, but a young woman's journey to embrace her identity. This was a beautiful book with a beautiful cover! I liked the filipino mythology, and how the main character was so stuck inside herself. There's a lot to relate to here if you're shy or feel weird or different, or are treated as weird or different by society.
