This book is for the triathlete and hence focuses on three types of endurance running cycling and swimming. The information is very detailed and set out in an easy to follow manner. However I have to stress that this book is written for a serious athlete. If you are just looking to get into a better shape I do not believe that following your progress this closely is this necessary. However you can still get some good tips and if you are looking to improve your time and skills within the categories of sport mentioned above this is a good book for you.… (más)

Ever wonder while you are running, "what am I doing wrong?" Ever wish someone could help analyze your stride and give you tips to improve? Well, this book does that and more. With great illustrations to help you anaylize your posture, your footstrike, your swimming stroke, your cycling technique, this book can help take apart each aspect of the process, and rebuild your technique. I love the fact that you can use the stretches and strengthening exercises at home, improving your triathlon performance before ever heading outside. Great book, great resource.… (más)

Nicely done, the illustrations are clear. My husband does triathlons and has found that he does follow many things in the book already, and has refined other things by reading the book. I am also in the fitness industry, and though triathlons aren't my thing, I have learned a few new ways to stretch and work certain muscles myself. I like how it breaks down the three parts of the race and gives examples of what to train for and stretch for each section.

Early reviewer:
There is a ton of information in this book. I really love the exercises and the explanations on why I need to do them. I have done 2 triathlons. I think book will help in the future ones that I do. I don't think it is a complete substitute for hiring a coach but can be used a nice compliment.
