Douglas Davis enjoys being one of the variety of voices needed both in front of and behind the concept, strategy, or execution. He is the principal of The Davis Group LLC and an associate professor within the Communication Design department at New York City College of Technology in Brooklyn. In mostrar más addition to client work, Douglas contributes to HOW University and the advisory board for New York City's High School for Innovation in Advertising and Media (iAM). By now, I'm thoroughly sick of the emphasis on technology. For me, I think it's time we pd more attn to telepathy & less attn to computers. &, yet, I'm not telepathic & I'm writing this on a computer & you're reading it on one (probably). SO, oh well.. In other words, this is a great bk despite it all. & the idea of an Artists Strike (later revivified by the neoists) is mentioned. As is Lo-Fi. So it's not like the whole thing's about selling you an iPod. P.S. I added the bk cover image b/c the bk listed here is close enuf to the edition I have but the actual edition listed may've had a different cover.… (más)
