The Trial and Execution of Socrates: Sources and… por Thomas C. Brickhouse
The text is well written and interesting to say the least. The translation of Plato and Xenophon's works are among the best in existence. Brickhouse's introductions to each chapter are short and to-the-point, without omitting worthwhile details or becoming too dry or bombastic. The scholarly arguments regarding Socrates are well-selected and, by this reader, well-received. Even the works cited list is an object of interest, aptly Brickhouse researched his book.
