The Library on Love Heart Lane is a cosy, small-town romance where all the characters seem to be connected in some way or other through friends or family.

It's book thirteen in the series but I read it as a standalone.

This book centres around Elle who is looking for her birth mother. She is also single but secretly pining for Noah whom she had met a while ago. I did wonder why she didn't phone him but I enjoyed watching Pippa interfere and kickstart some social media interaction between the pair. It was cute watching them look out for likes and messages.

Elle's back story pulled on my heartstrings as I read about her childhood and how that affected her. Her reunion with her mother was sensitively handled. I had an inkling as to who her father would be and it was pleasing to see the scenario of their meeting unfold.

The romance between Noah and Elle was a slow burn where they kept missing opportunities because of a lack of communication on Elle's part. She was really bad at sending out the right signals to him and I wondered how long he was going to hang about. But, it all worked out in the end sweetly and charmingly.

For a light, relaxing read The Library on Love Heart Lane fits the bill.

I absolutely loved this book from the very first page to the very last. This felt like the ultimate feel good book and it had me with a natural smile on my face throughout the book. I had not read the other books in the series but that didn’t spoil my enjoyment of the book at all - however I will now be wanting to read all the other books in the series.

This was the ultimate love story of two people who had been through the mill with a previous relationship breaking down that led to them withdrawing from life. It was good to seem them slowly come out of that situation and to see their rebirth and awakening. Throughout I was totally invested in the characters. I also like the way their story was wrapped in a wider story that again was excellently written.

I loved also how the setting was almost a character in itself and that is what will make me want to read the other books in the series.

If you want a good romance set against a Winter and Christmas backdrop I cannot recommend this book enough. A must read.

Thank you once again to the publishers and netgalley for accepting me to review this book xx
I adored the cover as soon as I saw it, it reminds me of an old fashioned toffee tin of which my late Mum used to keep old buttons in.

The characters are warm and friendly and the storyline has you enthralled until the very end. It gets you in the Christmas mood and wanting to grab the mulled wine and mince pies. It is heartwarming and will make you smile and you may well shed a tear or two. Its a lovely cosy Jim jam and dressing gown kind of book to snuggle down with.… (más)

This really was a feel good book which made me cosy inside. I read it this week while the weather was awful outside and it really lifted my spirits. The cover alone made me want to take a walk down Love Heart Lane and the characters are so well written.
