The German Woman por Janet Ashton
This is a remarkably readable account of the life of Alexandra, the last Tsarina of Russia (the 'German Woman' of the title). Ashton has clearly done a lot of historical research on her subject and has chosen to present a fictionalised account (as did Robert Graves with 'King Jesus') although she could equally well have published this as a history book.
