This book uses readings from various sources to illustrate various ways of being religious. The essays for each "way" arre divided into advocates, interpretations and criticisms. I found the idea that there are so many different paths interesting, but plowing through the essays in any kind of order was tedious at best. This would be better as a classroom book where only certain excerpts are assigned and discussed.
