The Challenge: -

Alternating titles with authors, while working through the alphabet A to Z. So starting with A (title), then A (author). Followed by B (title) and B (author) and so on.

Books read out of order are excluded (no ticking off S & T before finishing R).

Where a book qualifies for both author and title (for example, Alias Grace by Margaret Atwood) move onto next letter.

No time limit.

I am not good at sticking to reading lists, so I'm compiling lists of options for each letter, hopefully giving myself a wider choose. The downside of which is I'm left with a lengthening list of unread books as a move on.
Authors beginning with B for example I was thinking Burroughs, Bradbury, Bainbridge, Brookner. In the end I picked up Giovanni's Room at the library- not on my shortlist at all.

17th July, just past midnight.

Reached the halfway point of this challenge. I didn't set a time limit, but I'm a little disappointed at my progress. And the fact the books I'm choosing are getting shorter and easier. Don't want this to turn into a chore.

Night Film is next. 600+ pages!

START: November 30th 2015

FINISH: January 3rd 2017

Glad to have finished. High point - discovering a few new authors; such as Nicola Upson, Marisha Pessl & Janice Y K Lee which I hope to read more of this year. Low point - hunting around from something to read for X; not good.
