R: Ya que LibraryThing obtiene su información de muchas bibliotecas, puede asignar un sólo nombre para determinado autor. "También conocido como" permite a los usuarios de LibraryThing combinar nombres de autor fácilmente, para que así las colecciones coincidan y todo marche sobre ruedas.
P: ¿Puedo hacer la combinación con un autor no sugerido arriba?
R: Sí, puedes.
P: Sé que un autor está separado, ¡pero alguien continúa combinándolos! ¿Puedo sacar un nombre de la lista de combinación?
R: Sí, puedes.
¡Fíjate! Todo en la sección "Combinar con..." ahora tiene un enlace a "nunca combinar." Úsalo sensatamente. "Marc Twain" podrá ser una idiotez, pero las faltas de ortografía igual deben combinarse. No así "Mark Twain" y "Edward Gibbon".
P: ¿Qué escritores tienen previsto "no combinarse jamas" con este escritor?
